Help to maintain our beautiful award winning garden in the heart of Faversham.
The APCG gardening project gives our members the opportunity to get involved with helping to maintain our beautiful award winning garden.
Whether it is helping to grow vegetables, flowers, herbs or working in the wildlife garden, there is something for everyone.
No knowledge or skills are required, just enthusiasm to join in. Besides helping to maintain the gardens you will be supporting our belief in the positive emotional and wellbeing impact working with nature.
There are many opportunities to learn new skills such as ‘no dig’ gardening, permaculture, forest gardening, Hugulkulture raised beds, straw bale gardening, pruning fruit trees, roses, composting, companion planting, making homemade fertiliser, using herbs, looking after a pond, and bees.
It’s great fun, you make lots of friends, share a cuppa and make the most of the free biscuits!
Come and join us!
All year round gardening is exactly what is says. Every weekday: 10am-3pm
